Social Media Posting 101

Minsan, state of emotion lang talaga and should never define who we are sa kabuuan. Exercise prudence in this regard.

Remember: you are posting for the world to see (subject to privacy settings of course). When you externalize your inner feelings and desires, nakaka-connect ka sa iba dahil may emosyon din sila. We communicate easily heart-to-heart.

Dalawa ang puwedeng response: clarification or apology. Puwede ring both.

4. We must be “picky” about the words we use dahil iba-iba tayo ng basa sa mga salita at estilo ng pagpapahayag (i.e. cultural contexts). Mahalaga rin ang “tone” of writing. If you aim to be properly understood, be clear about your terms and concepts (kahit gaano kahirap i-express iyan) dahil may “permanence” ang writing at walang instant feedback.

5. Follow the Colossians 4:6 principle – “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” We should always preach this to ourselves..
