LOVESTRUCK CONVERGENCE-Bangui, Ilocos Norte (30 May 2016)

The Great Commission Ministry (TGCM) Church hosted the second leg of Lovestruck Convergence in Ilocos Norte. Approximately 200 young people participated in the event.  It was a quite a treat for the entire Lovestruck team as the program proceeded with the worship leader and the first speaker speaking in their native dialect of “Ilokano”.

Pastor Nonito “Ogie” Bumanglag re-echoed his message from the Laoag conference on “Redeeming Obedience to Parents” and challenged the young people to renew their relationship with their parents by asking each one in attendance to write a heartfelt note/letter for their parents/guardians.

Pastor John Michael “Johan” Sales passed on his message of “Redeeming Social Media” to the young people in Bangui and taught them how to be netizens approved before God. Delegates realized the need to secure their online information and how to deal effectively with online “bullies” and “trolls”.

Pastor Ivan Feliciano gave a message on “Redeeming Purity and Holiness” incorporating his personal testimony of his struggle with porn addiction and being a sex fiend. TThe talk opened awareness unto the attendees revealing their own personal struggles with SEX-RELATED sins. Several testimonies of spiritual revival were sent to the Lovestruck Team after the event.

Before the final message, Sis. Bethel Bumanglag delivered her testimony of redemption with regard to her academic struggle, broken relationship with friends and romantic partner, and how the Lord healed and transformed her heart.

Pastor Ronald Molmisa’s message on “Redeeming Broken Hearts” ushered in the healing touch of the Holy Spirit. He led the delegates into a powerful prayer wherein those with history of abuse, addiction to porn and lustful thoughts, engaging in practices of the occult, fornication, and pre-marital sex laid everything before the foot of the cross and surrendering everything before God. A groan of surrender was heard throughout the entire sanctuary.

The event concluded with a message of thanks from TGCM-Pagudpod Head Pastor, Pastor Modesto “Moody” Dumlao, thanking the entire Lovestruck Movement team for leading the youth of Bangui into a new spiritual revival.

Pastor Ronald responded by promising the return of the team for a series of training seminars on counselling, inner healing, and other issues concerning relationship problems of young people.
